I. Introduction: Penetrometer Test (CPT, CPTU, SPT, DCPT)
DCPT light type is used for sand, cohesive soil (including loess), artificial fill, looser particles. It is an in-situ test method for judging the nature of soil by using a certain drop weight energy to make the cone-shaped probe of a certain size hit the soil (penetration degree). It consists mainly of a penetate cone, a probe, and a piercing hammer. The weight of the hammer is 10 kg (heavy type 63.5kg)
