Introduction:
Car head-up display, referred to as HUD. When the vehicle is driving at a high speed, especially during high-speed driving at night, the driver looks down at the meter display. If there is an emergency in front of the vehicle, it may cause an accident due to the lack of effective action. In order to avoid this, the head-up display (HUD) system can mirror important information displayed by the meter (such as the speed of the vehicle) to the driver's head-up range of the front windshield during the driving, and display the position and the brightness automatically. In this way, you can avoid looking down at the dashboard, thus shortening the blind time of the eyeball to the front. Avoid over-speed violations in many speed-limiting sections, and more importantly, it allows the driver to instantly read in the absence of a large field of view.
Function:
1.Speed: The number can indicate the current speed.
2.Unit marks: V - voltage, ºC - degree Celsius, ºF - degree Fahr enheit,KM - Kilometer, MPH - Mile, KM/H - kilometer per hour
3.engine revolving speed icon
4.Car Engine Speed:indicates the rotating status of the engine and the
scale measured represents the speed reached.
5.Fuel marks:When the fuel amount is less than 10% , the icon will flash to remind refueling (some models not applicable)
6.Engine Fault:When the Engine failed ,This icon will light up to recmind
7.Battery voltage:When the Battery Voltage lower than 12V, the icon
will flash to alarm
8.Water temperature mark: When the water temperature exceeds the set value (default: 110 degrees), the corresponding warning light shows that the water temperature value will flash quickly.
9.Fatigue driving: When the single driving time exceeds the set value (default: 2 hours), the warning light displays a prompt.
10.clock icon (current time )
11.Multi-function display area: can switch real-time time, single driving time, single trip mileage.
12.Comprehensive statistics mark: TIME represent current TIME, KM
represent kilometers.
13.Instant 100KM/instant fuel consumption unit: displays fuel consumption of one hundred kilometers when the vehicle is moving,
in L/100km.
14.The sensor: the HUD display brightness adjust automatically
according to outside brightness.
15.Display water temperature and battery voltage, you can switch the display content by up and down keys
First time to use
After connecting the HUD display, OBD data cable and car diagnostic seat, first start the car, then turn on the HUD power switch, display the boot animation, flashing "Hud". Then, the HUD starts scanning the car communication protocol, the upper right shows "SCAN", and the lower left digit shows the current communication protocol. The first number indicates: 1 (protocol: ISO9141-2), 2 (protocol: ISO15765), 3 ( Protocol: ISO14230), the second number indicates the first sub-protocol under this protocol, such as "1 - 1" indicates the first communication protocol currently scanned to ISO9141-2. This process needs to wait for about 1 minute.

Some common problems are displayed below. If you incur any of these problems, please see the table for a solution.
Problem | Possible reason | The way to solve |
No speed display | The setting value is too high or the function is closed | Cancel stages of alarm and open the switch of alarm |
No rotating speed display | The setting value is too high or the function is closed | Reset the unit and open the switch of alarm |
No display after starting | The switch is not opened | Open the switch and check the plug |
Inaccurate display of fuel consumption | No air flow sensor | Reset the emissions and then calibrate |
No speed or engine speed display | Not compatible with OBDII or EU-OBD port | Contact your vehicle manufacturer |
No mileage display | No Settings for fuel and fuel consumption calibration | Switch to manual to input fuel and adjust fuel consumption |
Speed is inaccurate | The unit of speed is MPH | Switch the unit of speed to KM/H |
Display only shows speed and fuel | Speed exceeds 80KM/H | Enter into settings and switch display mode to 1 |
