Dust collector is used to absorb dust and purify air. Electrostatic precipitator appearance can be mostly divided into two kinds, vertical and horizontal. The horizontal electrostatic precipitator is an electrostatic purification method to collect the dust in the waste gas equipment, its main is to let the dust gas into the equipment, dust gas by the airflow distribution plate and baffle plate adjustment, so that the air flow can be more evenly into the electric field.
Working Principle
The working principle of the horizontal electrostatic precipitator is basically the same as that of the electrostatic precipitator, which is completed by the halo pole and the precipitating pole two systems. When the dusty gas enters the dust collector, the dusty gas receives the adjustment of the airflow distribution plate and the baffle plate, so that the airflow can enter the electric field more evenly. As the cross section expands, the airflow velocity decreases rapidly, and some of the heavier dust particles lose their velocity and settle down. The dusty gas entering the electric field will generate corona phenomenon near the corona pole due to the high voltage direct current flowing into the corona pole, which will ionize the gas. A large number of electrons and ions exist in the ionized gas, making the dust with electrons adsorbed on the cathode plate at the same time. After the vibration of the Yin and Yang electrode vibration system of the equipment, the dust deposited on the Yin and Yang electrodes vibrates down, enters the ash collector and is discharged through the ash discharge device.
In order to make the dusty gas more evenly into the electric field, so in the horizontal electrostatic precipitator, one to three airflow distribution plate and guide plate are set as required when entering the equipment, which can make the airflow distribution more uniform, so as to achieve good results, and it is not easy to appear problems such as plugging holes.
Cathode (corona) and the resonance device thorn corona wire is adopts section shape of the line, the discharge effect is good, also is bigger, and strength of cathode vibration according to the size of the equipment, respectively, using the top or side and rotating around the arm vibration mechanism, a good shaking body, so that the equipment performance is more reliable, can avoid the jammed, etc.
Advantages of Horizontal Electrostatic Precipitator
(1) The initial dust removal efficiency can reach to 99% and can catch fine dust below 1um, however, from the economic perspective, it generally under control of a reasonable dust removal efficiency.
(2) The processing smoke volume is large, it can be used for high temperature (up to 500ºC), high pressure and high humidity (relative humidity up to 100%) occasions. It can be operated continuously and automatically.
(3) With low resistance, the pressure loss of electrostatic precipitator is only 200 ~ 500Pa.
(4) Electrostatic precipitator operation cost is low and it can be stable with low failure rate.
Applied Range
It has a good combined removal effect for acid fog, toxic heavy metals and PM10, especially for PM2.5 fine dust. Also it is benefit for reducing coal boiler, steel sintering machine, glass furnace, coal and other industrial emission, reduce air pollution, reduce the probability of haze weather. It is suitable for the treatment of flue gas containing PM2.5, aerosol and acid mist droplets after desulphurization and denitrification in coal-fired boilers, non-ferrous gold furnaces, glass furnaces, cement furnaces, chemical production lines, textile production lines, and other industries.
