Comb plate;
The comb plate is located at both ends of the exit entrance, in order to facilitate the passenger transition and with the ladder, pedal or automatic sidewalk tape meshing parts. The ends shall be rounded in a shape that minimizes the risk of clamping between steps, pedals or adhesive tape. The support structure shall be adjustable to ensure proper engagement and proper stiffness.
Comb teeth are installed at the entrance, meshing with the groove on the ladder or pedal surface, with anti-skid parts. There should be a shape and a slope (e.g. a design Angle of no more than 40°) so that passengers will not trip when exiting an escalator or moving walk. The ends shall be made of brittle plastic or aluminum or rubber to ensure that the object can be released when clamped.
The comb tooth plate is the safety protection device of the elevator. There is a micro switch behind the comb tooth plate. If a foreign body gets stuck, the elevator can stop running
