The saddle of the tractor is a swinging horseshoe shaped wear-resistant steel plate. The trailer pressure acts on the plate (usually coated with butter). In the center of the plate is a semicircular hole with a notch. The hole wall is made of impact resistant forged steel.
There is a rotatable U-shaped plate under the hole, which is made of 2cm forgings. Behind the U-shaped plate is a 2cm thick 15cm wide forged steel baffle plate, which can be twitched left and right in the guide groove. Once the baffle is pulled away, the opening of the U-shaped plate turns to the rear.
When the main pin of the trailer hits the semicircle hole, the U-shaped plate opening will rotate to the side, at this time, the rear baffle will automatically return under the action of the spring, and the side wall tightly supports the U-shaped plate, so that the main pin of the trailer is positioned between the U-shaped plate and the semicircle hole.
Saddles are divided into 2-inch No. 50 and 3.5-inch No. 90 saddles according to the diameter of the towing pin. No. 50 has lower cost and is suitable for standard load transportation with lighter traction mass or better driving conditions. No. 90 is more stable due to its larger diameter and is suitable for most transportation and road conditions. Saddle can also be divided into adjustable saddle and fixed saddle according to the specific use.
