1, the origin of air spring
Not long after cars were invented, when comfort was very poor, inventors wanted to use this property of air to make air springs for cars. It was not until 1946, after the end of World War II, that the StoutStout Scarab, designed by American inventor William Bushnell, was equipped with an air spring designed and manufactured by Fire-stone. It was the world's first car with an all-air spring suspension.
