Free Fall Lifeboat is a model aboard from the sterm port designed and manufactured in accordance with the latest specification of SOLAS and Internationl standards. It slides down through the skideway(on ship or oil platform)freely to ensure quick and safe escape.
The passenger can be on board from the life gate and the driver inside can release it and let it slides into sea safely.
Free-release system is specially designed and easy for operating and can provide global services.
Gathering Free Fall Lifeboat has strengthened configration based on the totally enclosed lifeboat to bear the strong impact when falls to the water and can escape from the vessel and offshore platform quickly.
It is especially suitable for the dangerous places such as oil drilling platforms.
This type of lifeboat is installed on tank ships or oil installations, boat hull material is made of fire retardant glassfiber reinforced polyester(GRP). For tanker version fire protected freefall lifeboat, follwing parts is required:
*compressed air system of sufficient capacity to provide air for persons onboard and engine combustion for a minimum of 10mins
*Over pressure release valve preventing too large pressure inside cabin when using compressed air system
*water spray system with an engine driven centrifugal pump.
