The YWG500 steel ruler water gauge is a method for accurately measuring water level.It is usually used to measure the water level in Wells, boreholes and water level pipes, especially suitable for the observation of underground water level in hydropower projects or manual inspection of the wetting line of the dam body.This instrument can be used during construction, and can also be used for long-term safety monitoring.It conforms to the technical specification for safety monitoring of earth and rock DAMS.
Method of use
During the measurement, after letting the coil rotate freely, press the power button, put the probe into the water level tube, hold the steel rule cable in hand, and let the probe move down slowly. When the contact point of the probe touches the water surface, the speaker of the receiving system will emit continuous beeping sound.At this point, read out the depth of the steel ruler cable at the pipe mouth, that is, the distance between the water table and the pipe mouth.(if measured in a noisy environment, the buzzer cannot be heard, the observable indicator light and the voltmeter cannot be heard.)
The user must pay attention to two points when measuring the reading:
1. When the probe's contact touches the water, the speaker will sound, the indicator light will be on, and the voltmeter pointer will turn.At this point, the steel ruler cable should be placed slowly so as to carefully find the pronunciation or indicate the exact location of the moment and then read the depth of the point from the orifice.
2. The accuracy of the reading is determined by the timely judgment of the starting position of the buzzer or indicator. The accuracy of the measurement is related to the proficiency of the operator.
Product maintenance:
1, because the battery capacity is limited, every time after the measurement, should immediately turn off the power switch, do not forget!When the battery is replaced (the battery is 9V, the multimeter battery), the battery can be replaced by removing the cover plate of the battery box.
2. After measurement, the probe and the steel ruler cable must be wiped clean, and the steel ruler cable should be neatly wound on the winding plate, and then placed in the cabinet.
3. Do not bend the measuring cable, especially close to the end of the side head to avoid damage.
4. The probe should be handled gently and avoid severe vibration.If the probe is found to be out of order, please send it to our factory for maintenance.
