Classification of exhaust gas temperature sensors:
1. Thermistor type: high sensitivity, good response characteristics, but poor linearity, low-temperature adaptation.
It is divided into PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient, resistance value increases with the increase of temperature) and NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient, resistance value decreases with the rise of temperature). PTC is more complex than the NTC process, with better performance and higher costs.
2. Thermocouple resistance type: high accuracy, wide measurement temperature range, but needs to be used with amplifier and cold junction treatment.
3. Wirewound resistive: high accuracy, but very poor response.
