This product is appropriate for cooling and heating canning beverage, but carbonated beverage does not allow heating.
This product is widely used in various places. Not only working with direct current DC 12V, but also working with alternating current AC100V-240V after allocating a power adapter.
Cooling mode, turning off mode and heating mode are transformable by mechanical toggle switch.

DUAL FUNCTION: Cooling/ Warming functions. Max cooling to ≈ 18ºC below ambient temperature. Max warming to≈60ºC. Pre chill/heat your items to assist the unit to reach the lowest/highest temperature as quickly as possible.
Heating and Cooling Functions:
Depending on your preference and what has been added into the cooler/warmer, simply slide the switch to select either the cooling or warming function. Take food to a potluck and keep it warm as you drive to the party, or keep groceries cool on your way back from the grocery store.
