Working environment
This cable assembly is suitable for conductive DC charging equipment, it used for charging electric vehicles with IEC 62196-3 standard(configuration FF) interface.
The ambient temperature range for this cable assembly is -30°C to 50°C, and there is no corrosive gas such as acid or alkali in the surrounding environment, so as not to affect the performance or life of the product.
In order to ensure the safety of the product during use, direct rain should be avoided as much as possible, and it is strictly forbidden to immerse the charging connector in water.
The housing of the connector should be protected from severe external impact or vehicle driveover, which may cause damage to the housing.
If the live parts is exposed or the protective performance of the connector is deteriorated, it should be replaced it in time. Safety notices:
Improper use of charging cable assembly can cause dangers such as electric shock and short circuit. The safety precautions during the charging process and the following information must be observed:
1. Check the charging cable and the connector for damage and debris before use, and do not use damaged products for charging.
2. Don't immerse the charging connector in water.
3. If the cable assembly is smoking or melting or liquid leaking, please stop charging or press the emergency stop switch at the EVSE first.
4. Don't violent operating the charging connector during the charging process.
5. Before the vehicle driving away, it is necessary to confirm that the charging connector has been pulled out, otherwise it will cause damage to the charging connector, EVSE or vehicle inlet.
6. Make sure children can't operate the charging connector.
7. The maximum operating temperature of the conductive parts is 90 ºC. If the temperature reaches 90 ºC during the charging process, the charging power should be reduced immediately or the charging should be stopped.
8. The coolant filling hole plug of the cooling unit should be opened when necessary for adding coolant. In other cases, it should be kept tightly closed to prevent dust or solids or water and other substances from entering, so as to avoidpipeline blockage, flow reduction or cooling medium insulation decline.
9. This cable assembly only uses insulating liquid (Silicon oil) as a coolant. If you change coolant without authorization, it may cause the performance to decay or the sealing structure to damage.
10. The coolant is insulating silicone oil. If you accidentally contact the human body, please follow the following operations or consult a doctor for skin contact: Rinse with plenty of water.
Eye contact: Rinse eyes thoroughly with water for few minutes. If you wear contact lenses, rinse them for 1-2 minutes and then take them off, and continue to rinse for a few minutes. If you have symptoms of eye discomfort, please consult a doctor, preferably an ophthalmologist.
Ingestion: No medical emergency treatment is required.
11. Extinguishing media: Suitable extinguishing media: alcohol-resistant foam, carbon dioxide (CO2) chemical dry powder.
