The spindle unit consists of: spindle, gears, reel, brake wheel, housing and bearings, etc. The speed reducer is a spherical worm gear vice decelerator with an additional level of variable speed gear. The speed change handle can be switched between fast and slow speed positions. The working brake is of the tile type, starting the motor, the electro-hydraulic pusher releases the brake, stopping the motor is a spring force brake. The full brake is a floating tile type, relying on the hammer to fall for braking and the electro-hydraulic pusher to release the brake.
