Studlink & Studless Marine Ship Anchor Chain
According to the structure of the anchor chain ring, the anchor chain can be divided into two types: studded chain and studless chain. The chain link of a segmented anchor chain is equipped with a crossbar. When the size and material are the same, the strength of a segmented anchor chain is greater than that of an unstopped anchor chain, with less deformation, and it is not easy to twist when stacked. It is widely used by modern large and medium-sized ships. The chain link of an unstopped anchor chain has no crossbar and is generally only suitable for small ships. According to relevant regulations, when the diameter of the anchor chain provided according to the requirements does not exceed 17mm, an unstopped anchor chain with equal test load, or a steel wire rope or fiber rope with equal breaking load can be used to replace the unstopped anchor chain.
The steel grade of anchor chains used for producing grade anchor chains is divided into M1, M2, and M3 for electric welding anchor chains, and M2 and M3 for cast steel anchor chains. Add A (such as AM2) before the corresponding level code to indicate the presence of a gear chain, and B represents the absence of a gear chain (with BM1 and BM2 levels). The higher the grade of steel, the greater the tensile strength. AM1 grade anchor chain steel is killed steel, while AM2 and AM3 grade anchor chain steel is fully killed fine grain treated steel. For the same ship, if high-strength steel is used, the size of the anchor chain ring can be appropriately reduced.
A complete anchor chain first consists of a number of anchor chain links connected to each other to form a chain link of a certain length, and then several anchor chain links are connected by connecting chain links or connecting shackles to form a whole anchor chain.
