Frontech Brake Calipers Details:
Function: Brake calipers house the brake pads and are responsible for applying pressure to the brake rotor, which slows down or stops the vehicle's wheels from rotating.
Types: There are two main types of brake calipers - floating calipers and fixed calipers. Floating calipers have a single piston that pushes the inner brake pad against the rotor. Fixed calipers have multiple pistons on both sides of the rotor.
Piston(s): Brake calipers contain one or more pistons that move inside the caliper housing when the brake pedal is pressed. The pistons exert force on the brake pads, causing them to clamp onto the rotor.
