| Detailed | There are Basically 6 Different Versions of This Alternator Depending on the Plug Location, and Whether It Points Rearward or Out to the Side. There are 4 Versions Pointing Rearward and 2 Versions Pointing Out to the Side. Of the 4 Versions Pointing Rearward, There are 2 Different Plug Positions, and Each Position May Have the Battery Stud Either on the Left Side of the Rectifier, or on the Right Side. It is Quite Possible That Many oof These Versions Can Be Interchanged, as They are All Electrically the Same, and Have the Same 6-Groove Pulley. This is a 105A Bosch Alternator Used on the 2005-On Chevrolet Astro and Express and GMC Safari and Savana Vans. Also Note That the Tag on the Back of the Alternator says 105A in Large white Letters Yet Also Says 100A Below That. It May Actually Be a 100A Rated Alternator. The 11073 and 11076 are Basically the Same Unit, and Should Be Able to Be Used Interchangeably. Besides the 5 Amp Differences Between the Units, There is Also a Slight Battery Terminal and Plug Location Difference Which Has Not Been a Factor in Those Trucks Observed. Also, From All Outward Appearances, These Bosch Units Mentioned Above Appear to Be Versions of the Delco 8291 Also Used on Chevrolet / GMC Light Trucks. All Units Have a Similar Mounting, Use the 4-Pin Plug and Have a Conventional 6-Groove Pulley. |
