Heavy Duty Marine Shackle is a shackle that connects anchor chains for mooring the ships to mooring buoys . The material are High Carbon Steel and have grade 2 &3 , nominal diameter for chains is from 1/2" to 4" , we could offer European type and Australian type Rigging Lifting Shackle ,These type of shackle are connected to the common link of anchor chains with a kenter type joining shackle.
To prevent accidental opening, when you attach your anchor to its rode with a Steel Screw Pin Anchor Shackle always seize the shackle pin with safety wire. For increased strength, use one size larger than the chain, especially with High-Test chain (the pins will still fit).
