SOLAS Certified Lifeboat Entry Device
Free-fall davits are used to launch and release free-fall lifeboats and are generally installed at the stern of the ship. The design, manufacture and testing are in full compliance with Articles 4 and 34 of Chapter 3 of the 1974 International Life-saving Appliances Regulations as amended;
Parts 1 and 2 of MSC.81(70) as revised by MSC.226(82) Recommendations for testing of life-saving equipment; MSC.48(66) Chapter 1 and Chapter 5 of the International Life-Saving Equipment Code, as revised by MSC.218(82).

The davit can freely land the lifeboat in the water in emergency situations, that is, when the ship is in a severe situation with a transverse inclination of 20° and a longitudinal inclination of 10°.
In addition, you can also rely on hydraulic driving force, use the oil cylinder to push the davit to push the lifeboat outboard, and rely on gravity to lower the lifeboat into the water.
Release operation:
Pull out the safety locking pin on the normal release.
Turn the release handle from the locking position to the release position, and the lifeboat will descend into the water by its own gravity.

Operations after the boat enters the water:
After the boat enters the water, throw the remote control lanyard out of the lifeboat, and use a special pin plug to block the through hole of the lanyard.
Pull the handle of the special control cable release device to release the bow (stern) cable of the boat.
Use the outboard rudder, get in, and steer away from the ship.
