On February 24th, 2008, China' s first circle-rail mobile artificial island drilling rig with the drilling depth of 7000 meters, independently developed by BOMCO, started drilling at #1 artificial island Jidong Nanbu Oilfield of north China.
On March 2013, China's first drilling rig with the drilling depth of 9,000 meters (ZJ90/6750) was independently developed by BOMCO.

TECHNICAL FEATURES
- Mast effective height , 57.5m, is enough for drilling with quadruple stand;
- The front side of substructure is high and back side is low. The drawworks is fixed at low position on the back side and the drill floor is flat with larger operation area;
- The high speed and high power AC VFD motor of drawworks is specially designed and produced according to the special requirements of drilling operation. The main motor frequency converter is of one-to-two control mode which improves the dynamic response of motors;
- The 3000HP dual-shift VFD drive drawworks makes the rig operation more economic and the module design is easy for installation and transportation;The drawworks employs the modular design, meeting the large power drawworks installation and transportation requirements;
- Rotary table has one or two shifts with independent gear drive;
- The drilling rig uses 042mm high-strength steel wire rope, reducing weight of traveling and lifting system and improving the power efficiency of drilling rig;
- The max hook load is of 6750kN, AC-DC-AC electric drive technology is adopted and the PLC enables intelligent driller control;

The trailer mounted desert rig is adaptable to oil and gas drilling operation with the environmental temperature range of 0~55 °C and humidity 100%. It is the leading product of the industry at the international level.

- It is the first drilling rig in China equipped with a full-area fire-fighting system.
- It is equipped with the first mud pump in China designed with P-quick system.

- Compared to the conventional rigs, the highly-modularized design of this rig reduces the vehicles for rig move by 1/3 ;
