Forklift Steering Wheel Operation Method:
1. When driving on a straight road and in a platform or warehouse, the grip of a forklift steering wheel with both hands should be balanced with the left hand as the main and the right hand as the auxiliary. Make necessary corrections according to the road condition. Do not shake the steering wheel of the forklift from side to side.
2. When preparing to turn, you should slow down the forklift in advance and try to avoid sharp turns. Please note: Forklifts are different from ordinary vehicles in that the rear wheels perform the steering function, so the rear balance weight rotates outwards when turning. Decelerate ahead of time when steering, turn the steering wheel on the side to be turned, and the steering wheel of the forklift should rotate a little earlier than the vehicle with front wheels
3. On uneven roads, you should hold the forklift steering wheel firmly to avoid hurting your fingers or wrists due to counterforce produced by forklift bumps or steering.
4. Do not use too much force when the steering wheel of the forklift is turned. After the forklift stops running, do not turn the steering wheel while stopping to avoid damaging the steering mechanism.
5. When the forklift driver controls the lifting joystick and tilting joystick with his right hand, the left hand can control the forklift steering wheel by turning the joystick with one hand.
