The benefit to use air spring:
To optimize load distribution on multi-axle units.
To provide for auxiliary axle pick up when the axle is not need to use.
So it can provid operating economies and improved
maneuverability.
To permit automatic level. With automatic height sensors,
there is no change in vehicle height from an unloaded to a fully
loaded condition. GUOMAT air spring permits the cargo space to be designed
with a higher top and a lower floor without interfering with the
tires while still staying within maximum vehicle height limits.
A constant height is maintained when it use at loading docks
and for trailer pick-ups.
Change the air spring need to pay attention to these tips:
Clean the cover plate and the bottom piston, to check whether there is burr or installed on the metal parts corrosion replacement if necessary. On the seam allowance of the piston are coated with liquid soap or install tires lubricants but the grease cannot use.
During installation, make sure no damage to the air spring, combination of metal parts such as cover plate, piston sealing surface is not damaged, rust and getting dirty.
Check whether old metal piston indicates that there is a product of dirt, or surface rust caused by wear and tear. If there is, should clean up the surface of the piston, if necessary for processing to prevent rust or replace with new metal parts.
