High Speed Railroad Switch Rail, Railway Switch Rail, Railroad Turnout From China

Switch rail is divided into two kinds: straight switch rail and curve switch rail.
In China, straight switch rail is used in 12# or lower turnout. This rail is easy to produce and replace. There is less slicing on rail front-end, bigger lateral rigidity, and a less throw angle and flangeway on it. This switch rail can be left opened or right opened.
The linear type switch rail is straight one, and side direction rail is curved one in the new designed 12# and 18# turnout. This switch rail is with less impact angle and bigger guide curve radius, thus help the train to run more smoothly and more steadily with a higher speed.
The switch rail can be made of normal cross-section rail, high type special cross-section rail and short type cross-section rail (AT rail). Among them, the AT rail is with bigger cross-section area and good stability.
In China, the switch rail is 6.25m in 9# turnout, the straight switch rail is 7.7m, and the curve one is 11.3-11.5m in 12# turnout, and 12.5m in 18# turnout.
