Marine scuttle also called marine portlight or marine porthole is a kind of round window that is divided into the heavy type and light & medium type. The heavy type is fitted with anti-windward medial hinge storm cover. It can be installed above the full load waterline and below the freeboard with watertight and gastight characteristics. The light type generally doesn't have storm cover.
