Single Arm Slewing Davit for Rescue Boat
Single arm davit refers to a davit with only one boom. It is composed of boat frame, boom, boom beam and boat crane. It is characterized by small deck area, convenient hoisting and simple manufacturing process. When in use, release the davit, and the single arm davit will fall overboard; when the boat is in position, continue to release the davit cable, and the boat will continue to land directly to the water surface. The single arm davit is suitable for the hoisting of life-saving sampans on inland ships.
The 23KN Single Arm Slewing Boat/Raft Davit & Crane is used for 6 Persons Rescue Boat which is manufactured and tested under the approval of CCS in compliance with the requirements of 1983, 1992, 1996, 2006 Amendments SOLAS 1974. The inspections and tests of davit appliances are in accordance with the
IMO MSC.81(70) and MSC.226(82). The Single Arm Slewing Davit is a hydraulic slewing type davit and accumulator or manual pump driven in case of power failure would slew it. And lower the rescue boat by a remote control.
