Heavy-duty L-track is available in three profiles: regular, angled, and flange. The track is made of aluminum alloy (6061-T6) with a rated Working Load Limit of 2,000 lbs.

THREE L-TRACK PROFILES

L-track comes in different profiles including recessed style, recessed with flanges and angled surface mount. The recessed flanges profile is commonly used on school buses and airplanes to pinch rubber matting or carpet under the edge. The angled surface mount profile is often used in "toy hauler" trailers.

The recessed L-track requires you to route a channel in the floor for a flush mount. It can also be mounted directly on the floor but will stick up about 1 inch. The surface mount profile can easily be mounted to floors and walls giving you nearly limitless tie-down points.

TO DRILL OR NOT TO DRILL

The pre-drilled track can be quickly and easily installed on the trailer floor. However, if you are mounting to the wall, drilling your own holes may be preferred in order to properly line up to trailer posts.

L-track is cut within a tolerance of +/- 0.25 inch

INSTALLING L-TRACK

There are many types of L-track installations and each one can be quite different. Thus, we no longer carry installation hardware. We also cannot provide any instructions for installations for the same reason.
