The box beam vertical electroslag welding machine can be divided into wire electroslag welding and melting nozzle electroslag welding in the welding process:
1.The welding process of the two is basically the same. Arc starting - adding flux - slag forming completed - contact between the melting nozzle and slag pool - normal welding - when electroslag welding is completed - adding arc suction block - stop welding .
2.The difference between wire electroslag welding and melting tip electroslag welding is that wire electroslag welding is a welding method in which the welding wire is sent to the welding part through a non-melting water-cooled electroslag welding torch.
During the welding process, the electroslag torch rises with the rising liquid level of the welding pool. At present, in the electroslag welding market of steel structure box beams, filament electroslag welding is used more.
