Operation
1.To switch on,pull the slide downwards and then release.The unit beeps and displays 888.Wait for screen to show 0.0 PSI. 0.00 BAR.
2.Check screen display is PSI,BAR,pull slide down for one second and release to change PSI,BAR unit.
3.Put air nozzle onto tire valve,wait one second until the pressure reading locks on the display.You can check as many times as required the unit will change the valve each time.
4.To check TREAD DEPTH,push slide upwards until probe is extended.
5.Put the proble into the tread and then push the unit downwards until it resets on the tire.
6.Lift carefully away from the tire and read the depth in millimetres and tenths of mm.
7.At 1.6 mm and below the display will flash to warm of illegal tire in UK.
8.The unit will auto off after 90 seconds,or hold slide down until the unit switches off.
One thing that should be noted
In order to get a good seal,please put the tire's air nozzle was up or off to the side.It's best when the nozzle is around the 6 or 7 o'clock position so that you can firmly press the gauge straight down.This means you have to crane your head a bit to read the digital measurement,but the important thing is to be able to press down straight & hard onto the tire's nozzle.
